Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 17 February 1987. Branigan grew up in Beloit, Wisconisin. She talks about her experiences as a Catholic and describes her family life. She tells of her conversion to the Mormon Church and its effects on her dating and social life.
